Event Update: Most Likely To Succeed

Stone Independent is very excited to invite you to a free screening of the documentary film Most Likely to Succeed on Monday April 17th from 7-9pm at zoetropolis.

Most Likely to Succeed looks closely at the construction of our industrialized educational system (which was designed in 1893 by the notorious Committee of Ten) and the missed opportunities since to redesign and rethink the way schools work.  It then investigates real-world innovation in American high schools, including a deep dive into the High Tech High school system in San Diego.  From the MLTS website:

"Most Likely to Succeed offers an inspiring look at what students and teachers are capable of — if we have the vision and courage to transform our schools. Directed by acclaimed documentarian Greg Whiteley, the film has been an official selection of two dozen of the world’s leading film festivals, and has been featured at leading conferences on education including ASU/GVS, SxSWedu, Harvard/GoldmanSachs, and NewSchools Venture Fund."

Take just three minutes out of your day and check out the trailer for Most Likely to Succeed; after, if you’re feeling particularly excited, spend a few more minutes checking out the wealth of supporting information found on the terrific Most Likely to Succeed website.  We have a feeling you're really going to like what you learn.

We'll be showing the film on April 17th between 7-9pm at Zoetropolis, and thanks to a small grant from Most Likely To Succeed, and support from Sable Commercial Realty, this event is free of charge.

Reserve your free tickets here -- and know how excited we are to share this film with you.
