Four hours, 1000 Trees, and a Whole Lot Of Impact

Here at Stone, we follow our Mission in everything we do, and the final line of our Mission reads that we are “committed to making the world a measurably better place.”

That sentence means a lot of things to members of our community. Right now, it means planting trees — a lot of trees. 5000 trees in 60 days, in fact all as a lead up to The Big Do — our first ever outdoor music festival celebrating local impact in Lancaster County.

We spent Sunday May 16th planting 1000 trees at the Horn Farm Center. Click the video to hear Stone students talk about the project, the work, and their commitment to making the world a measurably better place.
