Annual Giving

Annual Giving is the first major pillar of our fundraising efforts, and is our must urgent area of philanthropic need. At most independent schools, the cost of educating a student is vastly higher than the revenue the school generates from tuition; at Stone, that gap exists largely because we are one of the only Need Blind private schools in the country.

What that means is: over nine years of operation, we have never turned a single family away for financial reasons, ever.

What that also means is: Annual Giving ensures the quality and success of each school year.

To support our students and our faculty, Annual Giving contains four major campaigns — — The Annual Fund, The ExtraGive, The Chili-Cook-off, and the Pennsylvania State EITC Program — and together they raise about 25% of our operating funds each year.
