Endowed Giving
Our Unrestricted Endowment.
Stone’s unrestricted endowment was first funded in 2025 at the Chili Cook-Off — during a reverse auction, our community contributed $36,400 to create a fund which enables us to invest in what matters most: our people and our place. Our endowment fund allows us to draw between 3-5% annually to support the operation of the school, and our goal is to reach $2M in endowed funds by 2029.
Gifts to the endowment can be made on our Give Now page (be sure to note your gift as to the Endowment).
Additionally, gifts can also be made by stock transfer. For additional giving mechanisms please email development@stoneindepdenent.org.
Named Endowed Funds Opportunities.
We welcome conversations with philanthropic supporters who are excited about creating named endowed funds, which can be established with a gift of $100,000. Named funds can be targeted to any part of our program which feels meaningful to our supporters — early examples might be to fund named scholarship lines, or an endowed travel fund, or an endowed fund to aid our expansion into athletics, or an endowed fund to aid in professional development.
